Washed the engine compartment just by spraying Simple Green on it, and rinsing it off, now it will not start. Cranks over, and it seems when it is about to start it "misses" and acts like timing is off.
I am currently trying to locate the CPS as I have read where that might have gotten wet but I cannot seem to see it.
It sat for a whole day in the sun with the hood open as I was hoping to dry it out naturally. But it still does the same thing.
Help!

Hello,

It sounds like you get water in the distributor, remove the cap and look at the under side to look for moisture.

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
