wont start

I picked up a sewing machine. got in the Trailblaer and it would not start.
Battery is a new Interstate one, starter if fine and fuel pump.
what can I do next? securty system people keep telling me. but know one knows how to reset it. tried the 10 minute thing where you turn key on, that didnt work.
Cant push brake down, cant get shifter to move, blinkers dont work, turn key to start all gauges go whacko for awhile, even the milage.
Please help I suppose to be going camping tomorrow! But cant with this broke down...

Have the battery charged and tested first. It sounds like it is dead.

If that turns out to be true, then you will have to run some tests to determine why.

Hi, NO thats already been checked as I stated in my first question. I need to know how to reset the Theft/ Security on it...PLEASE thats it just that....

The relearn on that vehicle requires a factory scan tool and cannot be done without it. You will need to see the dealer for that if it's really a security system problem.

Thanks thats all i needed to know.. Thought maybe it was something I could do..Thanks again, if this works I'll donate some $ your way for your answer if it correct and I needed to have it towed in to a place to have a factory scan done.

I don't know if security is even you problem at this point. are you getting a security light or message when you try to start it?

Have you tried a different key because this key has a transponder in it.

When the key is in run/start position all the warning lights come on and the two dial needles go wacko.

My friend was told to put the key in the drivers door, lock and unlock it a few times and see if that resets it. so thats being done as of now..

yes we have tried 3 different keys in the ignition

You have another problem here. You may have a bad dash cluster or a wiring problem somewhere. Either way it needs to be diagnosed professionally.

The door locks have nothing at all to do with the engine immobilizer.
