Where the heck is the C-37 joint connector?

The C-8 terminal on the C-2 connector of my ECU harness has no continuity with ground. The nearest juncture that I see in schematics is the "C-37 Joint Connector". The problem is I can't find C-37 under the dash. Best I can tell, it is a 22 pin flat connector, and again, best I can tell it may be above the bracket that is mounted to the interior firewall that holds the brake and clutch pedal. I'm just looking for some kind of instruction or confirmation that this is where C-37 is before I take all this crap loose under the drivers-side dash.

For anybody else reading who may be having related problems, you can read more here: http://www.2carpros.com/questions/only-receiving-11-volts-on-the-crankshaft-position-censor-circuit-why

My diagram doesn't show it having a C-37 connector. That wouldn't be a ground point anyway, just a connector.

No but according to my schematics, the ECM's C8 pin does connect to ground "through" the C-37 connector.

If that is a Blk/red wire, then it grounds at G120, right side of the engine along with a Blk/Blu from C9.

Apparently according to what I'm looking at, it's confusing at best. My manual is for the Rodeo, Amigo, Trooper and Vehicross. For much of the Amigo details the index says "See Rodeo such and such section".

For the ECM and associated wiring, it says "See Rodeo", yet in the Amigo section it does show the ECM and associated wiring and as you say, it does not show a C-37. That was why I was wondering about it being concealed on top of the brake and clutch pedal bracket. The only schematics in the Amigo section show radio, tail light, anti-theft schematics, etc.

Look, you need to throw that junk book away. I have Alldata and Mitchell and I already told you there is no C37. There isn't even a connector on the wire. I told you where that wire goes.

To answer your previous question, Yes C8 is black and red. It does in fact have ground when H5 is connected. C7 and C9 one either side are black and blue. Going back to 'square one' in checking everything out. At least I don't have to deal with a C-37 connector. Thanks

As I already stated, it attaches to the right side of the engine.
