I am looking to test the crankshaft sensor on my car listed above Cutlass Ciera with a 2.8l MFI engine. I cannot find the sensor anywhere. Where is this sensor located?

You do not have a crank sensor on the crank shaft for this engine. Your sensor is in the distributor and the ECM uses the rotation of the distributor to determine engine position and RPM.

Take a look at this info. Let me know if there is an issue that you need this info for and we can try to figure out what the problem may be. Thanks

You are welcome. You may have to remove the starter to actually get it out. I have not done it on this engine but it appears it needs to come out to get the sensor out. Thanks.
