Shakes or Wobbles problem
1999 Volvo V70 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a knocking sound coming from the rear right wheel of my car. I have replaced the pads, replaced the hub assembly, the rotor, although worn, doesnt really look any worse than the other side. As I speed u between 70 and 80 km/hr it comes again making me thin it has to be the rotor. As I start to brake it comes again until I get more foot power to the pedal or until iI come to a stop. Heres the weird thing; when I pass over bumps etc on the right side, I hear the same tone of thump. I cant seem to find anything loose - is it a spring or a shock? Help?

Sounds like you have bad shocks. When you are travelling at the speed your going, the wheel is bouncing up and down on the uneven road surface and especially when you go over the bumps. You should replace both the rear shocks.

I agree, I would start with checking the shocker top and lower mounting bushes.
