2004 Volvo C70 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 61000 miles

Yesterday I could not remove the key from the ignition on my 2004 Volvo C70. The car still starts, steering wheel turns, drives on the street and otherwise behaves normally

First thing to check is the gear selector button. They start to stick so your vehicle is technically not in "PARK" yet. Kinda like trying to pull the key out in drive. It wont happened. The fix for that would be to replace the gear selector knob. Good Luck.
