Hi, I have a Volkwagen Golf 95 Model. I drove the car clean to & back from work this monday & parked it. Next morning when I tried to start my car, the moment I turn the key to 3'rd position from Ignition on to starter position, the alarm goes off & I have to get out of the car & use the door key to turn off the alarm. I have tried many times without success. I;m unable to start my car.

Please Help

Maybe your Comfort Control Module has crapped out on ya. When your alarm goes off, and you get out to use the keys to turn it off, DO you use the keyless entry or do you stick the key in the door and turn it to disable the alarm? Try this. Lock your doors from outside, and activate the alarm. Watch the red LED by the drivers door lock. It should be blinking. Now use the key and manually unlock it, not keyless entry. Before opening the door, check the red LED. Is it still blinking even though its unlocked? If it is still blinking, then your Door Lock Switch is malfunctioning. Common problem. If thats the case, post back here, and Ill tell ya how to fix it. If the LED stops blinking when you unlock it, then the Door Lock Switch is functioning properly, and your CCM would most likely be the culprit. Let me know! Hope this helps.
