1995 VW Jetta GLS 116K, my son was driving the car when he stoped at a light and it cut off and would not start. He was 150 miles away from home on his way back to school. I went up a week later with a tow dolley from uhaul and brought the car home. Per the instructions on the dolley, I disconnected the negative battery terminal. When I got readey to work on the car, I re-connected the terminal and the alarm went off. The alarm is activated and de-activated by locking and unlocking the door, hence my problem, our door locks dont work, is there anyway to disable the factory alarm so I can get the car running? (Broken timming belt)

I inadvertantly locked my keys in my car and had to break into my car. However I am unable to disable the alarm and crank my car. I tried unlocking the trunk and the passenger side door without luck. The key does not work in the driver side door because of a previous break in. Can you tell me how I can disable the alarm on the car to get my vehicle to start? Thank you
