Blinkers and Hazzards do not work

Hi, I have a 93 VW GolfIII its a 2.0 and standered front wheel drive. My blinkers and my hazzards do not work at all. I had just finished replaceing my fule pump when I noticed this. I chekced to fuses, and the fuse was burnt out so I replaced it but blinkers countined to not work. Also the new fues did not blow. Any sujestions what it might be?
