How do you check the transmission fluid on a 1996 jetta trek model. It's a automatic and i can't find the dip stick. please help

Before you check the tranny fluid, note that it is a sealed unit, and you will have to crack to seals to check or fill the tranny fluid. So purchase the seals prior to doing it! And the dipstick and the filler tube are located on the bottom of the transaxle (I know right...) so you have to jack up the car, but it has to be level, so I would recommend jackstands. You will see two orange plastic clips on the bottom of the transaxle, and that is where you check and fill your tranny fluid. Hope it helped!
