Transmission problem
2001 Volkswagen Eurovan 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles
Wife stopped at intersection, no noises, no loud sounds of any kind, no fluid drip at all, sitting in D and went to accerlorate and engine would accelorate but go no where. She was able to place in R-reverse and back off road and then had towed to VW dealer last night.
She did say that one week ago for a brief moment an electric indicator problem light showed on dash and then went off just that fast while driving?

Thank you for the donation,
Ashe was able to drive in revers show that the converter and oil pump are working, start with a scan to see what the check indication was, there may be unresolved transmission electrical faults, start here and advise of what you find.
