2000 Vauxhall Zafira not running right

Hi my car does not run right, it ticks over ok, it drives ok on high revs, but when you push excelerator it flutuates up and down like its hunting, ive had four machanics look at it, it has failed mot on lamner sencor this has been renewed also air flow meter and throtle bodyall renewed, im at a loss please can you help many thanks dave

Have the throttle position sensor checked or replaced

It could be the computer .. but in my experience the computer would be the last thing to replace .. I would definately go for the TPS or check for any vacuum leaks on the engine even a pinhole leak on a vacuum line could cause these symptoms

Yes .. the throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body

Throttle body will not come with a new TPS on it. The tech will have used your old one. Check if he replaced the TPS?

Hi dave h the machanic changed the trottle body with a different tps and car runs the same no difference and checked again for air leaks so im going to send the ecu unit away but I need your help again please how do you remove the transponder iv'e been told you have to put key in ignition turn once then put a rod in some where but I have no idea please can you help me once again many thanks dave

Which transponder ? you do not need to remove the Immoboliser transponder to remove the ECU ?

Hi dave h thanks for your reply im sending off my ecu and they need my transponder by the ignition and they also need my ignition key iv'e taken off the cowl around the steering colume please can you tell me how do I get the transponder off im at a loss once again many thanks dave
