Underneath the car drags when I hit a bump

A part of my car, underneath towards the front, underneath the hood drags when I hit a bump. I have to drive home, around eleven hours before I can fix it. Should I duct tape the part that is hanging?

I take it that this is a piece of trim/ aerodynamics.

Would not hurt to tape it up out of the way.
