I have the vehicle listed above GLS model, and I have been troubleshooting an Issue of the car not starting. I have changed the battery. I have service invoices for spark plugs, Ignition Coil, and Cables Intake Manifold Gasket, this service has been done twice on this car at the same shop in 2018. Does anyone have any helpful information or ideas for what I can do to get the car running? Also, the alternator hasn't been serviced at any point and the car has 245,270 miles on it.

Hello,

So, when you try to start it, what does it do?
Does it crank over but not start?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-not-running-advanced

Generally speaking, an engine will need spark, fuel and compression to start. So, if the engine is cranking over but not starting, you are likely missing either spark or fuel or both.
Can you hear the fuel pump come on when the key is in the on position?

If it does not crank over and just makes a clicking noise it could be a starter or a faulty wiring to the starter.

Please let me know a little more of what you have been experiencing.

Thank you.

I can't do anymore troubleshooting at the moment. I need to work on getting a jump box or just an old fashion jump from someone.

I do have one new thought; could it be a sensor problem? I did some research and I found out that if the key fob is damaged then it can cause issues when trying to start the car.

So, what does the vehicle do when you try to start it?
Does it make any noise? Does the engine crank over?
The best option would be to try to eliminate the possibilities.

Also, if the ignition is faulty, it will also have not start, but in this case regardless of if you try to jump it, when the key gets turned it will not make any noise.

So, have you already confirmed that it has spark, and good compression and the timing belt is good?
From the video it sounds like it might not have proper compression. As the cranking sound was kind of 'flat'.

Can you hear the fuel pump when the key gets turned to the on position? The fuel pump should turn on for a few seconds when the key is at the position, then it will stop. You will hear a hummin noise from the pump.

One thing you can try is to spray starting fluid into the throttle body, then try to start it. If it starts, then the issue is the engine is not getting fuel. Typically, with starring fluid the engine will start and run for a little bit then stall as soon as the fluid runs out.

No, I am not confirming that I was told it could be one of those things since they haven't been serviced since 2018.

Got it. So, it is possible the compression might be low, at least that's what it sounds like.

Are you able to hear the fuel pump?

Maybe try the starting fluid method to see if it starts. If it does not, then it could be a spark or compression issue. Let me know what you find.
Unfortunately, without testing items one by one it will be difficult to tell.

Now that we all have the same information on the service that's been done on the car. Can you take a few minutes and look at them and tell me your thoughts on it?

I just went through all those documents. I see there were several services performed and recommended. However, none of those services can point to any issues or any diagnostics that could be related to your current no-start problem. It is good that many of these services were performed as they were maintenance items.

As for your current issue, let me know what you have tried so far. Also, were you able to do the starting fluid test?

Did you say you will try to jump start it? Or have you tried that?

The course of action would be to try each different method and see what the outcome is.

As you mentioned that you are unable to hear the fuel pump, which could mean that the pump is not turning on. That could mean you are not getting fuel.
If you do the starting fluid test that will tell you right away if fuel is the issue.

Let me know what happens when you try that.

I haven't done any testing on anything today. I did go and get the starter fluid and I also was able to get some heat to put into the gas just in case the gas is frozen.
