Transmission not shifting into overdrive at normal speed

On steady acceleration, trans. Usually shifts into overdrive at 45-48 mph. Normal rpm at 65 mph in o/d was about 1500. Currently, the rpms stay about 2000-2200. I can feel the trans. Shifting 1-2 then 2-3, but not 3-4. Gas mileage has dropped from 28mpg on the highway to about 21 mpg.

Have a trans guy look at it sounds like you have lost the lock up clutch in converter and probably o/d
