How to flush the transmission?

You need to drain all the fluid out of it into a pan. I would get some transmission fluid, about 5 or 6 quarts, and fill it with the fluid and move it around to circulate it inside the transmission.

The drain it all out and see if there is any dirt remaining inside. You may need to do this several times to get rid of the debris and dirt.
