I was sitting at gas station in an idle when my traction control light and my check engine light came on. My car seems to be running normal. I do not have sensor codes yet (waiting for husband to get the code reader from his dad). What are some causes for this? Hopefully it is something we can repair ourselves.

Will require a code read to have a good idea as to what is going on here, may be as simple as a wheel speed sensor fault, a code read will help with this. Please post with any codes retrieved.

Looks like an ABS module fault, to be sure the system will have to be tested first hand to check for all possibilities first.
