Hello,

I own the vehicle listed above J Excite. I had my tires changed a month ago, about two weeks later my tire light has come on the dash and won’t turn off, my tires are not losing any air. I purchased a TPMS relearn tool to see if it would work, every sensor responded but the light still remains. How much would it cost to diagnose the issue? And if any of the sensors need to be replaced what would this cost?

Hi,

That is a tough question to answer simply because we don't have that vehicle in the US. However, it shouldn't be too much. If you do need a new sensor, installed it should be under $100.00.

As far as a diagnosis, all that is required is to scan the can bus system to see where there is a fault. A code will be supplied and it should help you identify the cause.

Let me know what kind of a TPMS relearn tool you have and if you are seeing a signal from each wheel. Maybe I can help you through this. At least I can try. LOL

Take care,
Joe
