A few weeks ago I had a tune up, new plugs and wires but no condenser or distributor. I am now getting feedback on my radio in my AM stations, minimal in the FM and no feedback when I listen to a CD. I did not have the problem prior to the tune up and I took it back to the mechanic the next day and they could not fix it. The mechanic went so far as to put the old plugs and wires back. I listen to the AM often and it is driving me nuts.

Thanks for your help

The technician must have moved the condenser while he was replacing the wires. I would go ahead and replace the condenser.

The mechanic did replace the condenser after the initial visit.

Radio interference is caused by improper grounding. So I would check every wires that the mechanic may have touched. Your engine should also have 2 dedicated ground wires, somewhere. You should have a wire harness coming out of the distributor. Check those wires. And your coil as well.
