My truck wont even turn over when I turn the key. All the lights and electronics work but when the key is turned the engine does nothing. What could be the problem?

Problem with the starting circuit-Is the battery and connection okay if so this sounds like the starter is having problems or the battery needs to be load tested these guides can help us fix it.

If this narrows it down it has been weak starting up over the past 2 months but it has always started and ran fine. Also I replaced the starter a year ago so could it really go out that fast?

Hi,

The idea that the battery was getting weak, leads me to believe that it may have failed. What I suggest is to try this simple load test at home. It only takes a couple of minutes to do and requires no tools.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
