Truck wont idle at consistent RPM when A/C is turned on

So tell me what is the a/c clutch doing? Is it kicking in and out alot? Get back to me and we will go from there.

No it only kicks in once. The check engine light came on and the code said it was the Throttle positioning sensor I have changed that sensor recently

Well that sensor could be bad. I have had new ones not be good or not last long. I would check the vacuum hose to the throttle opener and make sure there are no leaks or cracks on that vacuum line. If that looks good then I will look over the range chart for the tps and you will need to do an ohms test on it and you will also need to be able to apply vacuum to the throttle opener for that test. Let me know what you find.
