1997 Toyota Previa 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 145k miles
Is there a way to retrieve the obd code from this vehicle without a scan tool? Jumper between the obd connector points or a key on/off procedure causing the mil light to flash the code?

Yes oz as a matter of fact you can. There is a obdI style connector under the driver seat. If you jump the TE1 port and the E1 port this will cause your oil light to flash the codes! Good Luck!
