I have a 1990 Toyota 4 speed manual pickup. Recently, it has been slipping out of 1st and second gear. I had the engine rebuilt about 30k miles ago and also replaced the flywheel and the clutch disk at that time. The problem is getting progressively worse. Please help with ideas. Thanks!

My 91 pickup use to do the same. I took to a garage and they repaired it by replacing a plastic peice that guides the shifter into gear. The part was about $15.00 and labor was about $100.00. It took onlly half a day to fix.
