Toyota Missing Problems

Hello,

I have a 1991 Toyota Corrolla Mileage 224000

When I start up I get this bluish smoke from my exhaust but only for about 2-3 seconds and then no exhaust smoke at all, but when I accellerate to pass a car or try to go uphill, the car wants to miss and have no power whatsoever, and from time to time when I go uphill, it will miss terribly (shakes the whole car) my local garage told me that I had oil leaking into my cylinders, and that I should have my valve gasket cover replaced and I did, but it still does the above mentioned items. HELP!

The mechanic probably meant that your valve seals were leaking. That's alot more work and money than the valve cover gasket.
Personally I wouldn't pay to replace those given the mileage of the car, unless you could get it done for not too much.
Could try some kind of oil additive to help stop the leaking, I don't know.
Replacing the plugs might help temporarily, but if the valve seals are leaking they'll eventually foul again.
Sorry, know that's not much help or what you wanted to hear.
