1987 Other Toyota Models Charge light on when using turn sig

Replaced engine fuse at fire wall. Replaced altenator and new battery, and new ignition switch electric harness in steering column. Put battery terminal on and starts right up. Dash lights and gauges on fuel, temp on.
Perfect no charge light on. As soon as I hit the trun signal arm, dead dash and on charge light but its not charging battery. At all even checked with volt meter. Please help me. I do have lights when I twist them on. But slowly die. It quits charging when charge light comes on. I tried to disconnect battery to see if we could start all over but know we cant charge light on.

Double check wiring connector on back of alternator if ok try wiggle it while engine is running and see if it charges off and on by observing the voltmeter. I have a vehicle that's doing the same thing. If it continues to do it bring it in and have the alternator tested.
