Our copany own 25 Land cruisers.
we bought 4 diesel engine(IHZ) land cruisers 2003 model, and installed turbo charger in 2005 in all 4 vehicles. These vehicles have done 25000 kms.

After installing turbo charger I found there is a excessive BLACK smoke in the exhaust. I checked the oil leak from turbo charger but seems to be ok. The engine oil level remains same, it is not going down.
The problem is in only 4 vehicles we have other turbo fitted same engine vehicles are normal and no smoke

Please suggest what will be the cause

Black smoke is rich burning. It may be the turbos are responding fast enough causing a build up of fuel. Check the waste gate control system and they may need to be adjusted so they react faster.
