The radiator of my 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser, Diesel explode when I was driving. After the radiator was fixed water is gushing out violently when the engine is just started running and the engine is still quiet cool
The mechanic said may the gasket is broken. When we took off the cylinder head to replace the gasket we found a crack in the cylinder head. We replaced the old cylinder head with a new one and also a new gasket. When we started the engine still water is gushing out violently when the engine is just started running and the engine is still cooled and the oil pressure is low. Could it be that the engine block is cracked inside because there is no leaking or could it be something else like the bearings, water pump, thermostat etc.? Thanks for your help. Tom

Hi there,

if you have a cracked block you will be able to pressure test the system and you should see some coolant increasing into the cylinder, remove the glow plugs and crank it over, coolant may exit from the glow plug hole, (KEEP WELL CLEAR AS IT WILL BE UNDER HIGH PRESSURE) Check this next.
