Hi,

My landcruiser has a tapping noise in the turbo and I can feel it grinding through the floor. There's a lot of oil around the turbo as well. I'm a kangaroo shooter and need my vehicle to work. I need to travel approximately 500ks tonight to get a load. Is it ok to drive it like this? What will happen if the turbo goes?

It all depends on if the turbo produces debris/pieces that get into the engine and damages the engine. Sometimes you will just lose the turbo and it wont damage the engine.I cant tell you how long it will last or if it will damage anything if it fails that would be telling the future.I would do something about fixing it as soon as possible sounds like its ready to go at anytime.
