Hi there! My corolla is still not running well until now. it will run only for a few kilometer after starting and suddenly it will stop. i change the fuel filter and fuel pump as well as the air cleaner. i drained the fuel tank already, but the problem is still the same. It is a 2E engine with a carburetor. Can you give me a diagnosis with my problem? how about the distributor cap? Do you think it's an electrical problem? is it possible? thanks..

If, when the car stops, and you spray starting fluid down the carb, if it runs a for a second then it is fuel related. If it doesn't run it is an igniton problem, ignition module is most likely.
