1996 Toyota Corolla Car take forever to go

When I start my car after it has sat for a couple of hours, when I put it in drive and push the gas, it moves VERY slowly not matter how hard I push gas pedal.

Check (or have checked) the trans. And differential fluid levels. It is possible the differential is low/out of fluid and binding.

If they check out OK, then take to a trans. Shop and have the trans. Diagnosed.

Other possibilities include that the convertor (CAT) is clogged, but this should not get better, or go away.
