1997 Toyota Camry LE 4-cyl 2.2 American Edition 109k miles. Recently, when I go around a corner to the right, my dome light and door locks start flickering and activating, respectively. It only happens while I'm moving; simply sitting still and turning the wheel doesn't make it happen. It doesn't happen when I turn left, either. It seems to be effected by the g-forces produced when I turn. If I'm going really slow, nothing. But a right turn at about 20-25 mph or more, and I've got a rolling light show. What should I check?

I did a little basic troubleshooting and found the source of my problem: the door latch striker plate was loose, causing the door to be closed most of the way, but a little outward pressure (including g-forces) would cause the door to open just a fraction of an inch, causing the "door open" switch to activate, which subsequently turned on the dome light and activated the door locks. I simply tightened up the striker plate after I moved it inboard a little bit - problem solved (for now)!
