Check engine light came on for a day and turn off by itself, I let mechanic check it out he said code came up for EGR fault. He recomments to change EGR regulator and vacuum switch sensor. The car run fine except when you slow down between 30 to 40 miles and apply gas pedal again it seem like car doesn't want to move or real slow untill it reach certain speed or RPM. Does ERG cause this problem. Thanks.

Its possible, or there could be a few things contributing to it such as possible vaccum leak.

What I would be doing is posting the code that came up back to me, not what it means. Ie P0300.

Or whatever else your code appears to be that way I can tell you what is wrong.

Sounds like your mechanic knows what hes talking about.

Replace and see how it goes, should clear right up.
