1995 Toyota Camry Battery willl not keep charge

OK, my 95 Toyota Camry had a new battery put in in March of this year. Just the other day I lost all electrical power in my car and then it died. I waited a few minutes and it started up again. But after it had set awhile and I tried to start it I got no where. I jump started it and it ran for maybe 5 minuets and died again. The next morning I had my battery tested and was told it was bad. So I got a new battery and not ever 12 hours later the new battery was dead and unable to keep any sort of charge. Could this be the alternator or a fuel filter problem?

Hi AaronB,

This is either the charging system fault, which could be a faulty alternaotr or its wiring circuit or there is parasitic drain on then battery when vehicle is not in motion.

Get the charging system tested. Most parts stores provides the service either free or for a nominal fee.
