How can I reset the check engine light.I broke the top out of the first tempeture senser on the themostat housing, that I assume tells the fan to come on now the check engine light is on.I read on the internet you have to have a scan tool. I`ve already tried disconnecting the battery and blowing the horn.[ I have the senser jumped out in the plug in ]

Hi there,

You will need to have a scan tool hooked up to clear the code.
