1993 Toyota Camry timing belt

timing belt marks not visible what can be done to set the timing properly

Hi there,
Set the engine to TDC No1, there is a notch on the crank shaft pulley and a timing mark on the engine, check this alignment and on the cam, there is a small hole in the gear which aligns with a mark on the backing plate, i will post a pic when i get access to Mitchell 1.
