Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Automatic 206000 miles

ENGINE WILL START AND RUN FINE, BUT SOMETIMES WILL CRANK OVER BUT NOT FIRE. AFTER A DAY OR SO WILL START AND RUN FINE AGAIN.

Hi there,

When it wont start you will have to check for fuel pressure, spark & injector pulse, I would be suspecting fuel pump issues as a first place to look.

Will fuel pressure keep truck from firing. Checked truck for fire and was'nt any.

Hi there,

If you have no spark, do the scan and check for faulty cam or crank angle sensors, do this next.
