We replaced the starter because it went out. Then we got in to rev it up and nothing happened. We replaced the throttle module and still the same. You can hear the depressing of the accelerator pedal but still won’t rev up the engine.

Replacing the starter doesn't have anything to do with the RPM so I suspect we either have another issue or something was damaged or left off when replacing it.

If you can depress the accelerator and not get any response then we need to start with checking the throttle cable. I suspect it is either out of adjustment or simply not connected.

Below is the info on this cable. Please remove the cover and inspect the operation.

You can just leave the engine off and have someone push the pedal down while you look at it and make sure the throttle plate is opening.

Let us know what you find. Thanks
