the car just died while driving down the road

i was driving it like normal and all of the sudden it just died. when i tried to restart it, it wouldnt try to start. i dont believe it was free spinning. any advice?

check for spark, fuel pressure and compression.

you need a compression tester, fuel pressure gauge and an old plug to check for spark.
