2002 Suzuki XL7 rear brakes

I need my rear brakes repaired. I have already gotten front brakes in May 2010. How long can I continue to drive until I get my rear brakes repaired? I do not have the $225.00 that Strauss says I need to get them repaired.

Rear brakes normally last much longer than front brakes, if you just had front brakes replaced than you should be able to drive another several months, even a year before replacing the rear.
