I have cracked the ABS module

Ran over median with front and back tires drivers side, couple of weeks later heard a lot of knocking, rattling front end. Dealer said I had cracked the ABS module.

Good morning,

I attached the procedure for you below with some pictures.

When it is completed, the module must be programmed to your car or it will not work.

Removal

1. Disconnect the brake tube from the HECU by unlocking the nuts counterclockwise with a spanner.

2. Lift up the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the connector(A) from the HECU.

4. Remove the two HECU brake mounting bolts(B) , and then disassemble the HECU with the bracket.

CAUTION:
1. Never attempt to disassemble the HECU.
2. The HECU must be transported and stored in
3. Never shock to the HECU.

5. Remove the two HECU mounting nuts and washer, and then remove the bracket.

Installation

1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
2. Tighten the HECU mounting bolts and brake tube nuts to the specified torque.

Tightening torque
HECU mounting nut :
5.88 - 9.8N.m (0.6 - 1kgf.m, 4.36 - 7.27Ib-ft)
HECU bracket mounting bolt:
16.66 - 25.48N.m (1.7 - 2.6kgf.m, 12.36 - 18.9Ib-ft)
