1996 Subaru Legacy fuel pump relay
Electrical problem
1996 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 175000 miles
we were recieving no fuel pressure.
Checked the fuel pump relay, no juice coming out.
replaced relay, car started after pressurizing fuel lines.
however, fuel pump relay blew again??
where shoul i focus my attention?
main relay?Fuel pump? causing relay to blow??

Hi jamespagosa,
Thank you for the donation.
Fuel pump relays do not go bad even if the pump is shorting as the fuse would blow.
If it is confirmed the relay is bad, then most likely the quality of the relay is suspect.
