1999 Subaru Impreza Engine oil seen on tailpipe

I recently observed oil coming from my tailpipe. I traced it to one of the cylinders. Oil is also seen to leak from one of the engine breather pipes. Where is it coming from and what do I need to do to fix it? I add about 500ml of oil every 1000miles, in between service

Also, my engine hesitates to rev up from a stop. I have to rev it first.

What cylinder is it coming from? I would do a compression test and find you issue. Sounds like you hav excessive engine blow by due to an internal issue.

It comes from the forward cylinder on the right. (Looking at it frm the drivers seat). I will have a compression check done to narrow down the problem. Thanks
