When driving over a bump the left tire area, sounds like metal hitting metal, strut, spring or motor mount?

When I hit a bump, even the reflector on the road, the left tire area, sounds like metal hitting metal.

Hi,

Have you inspected under the vehicle on that side of the vehicle? You may have a broken stabilizer link or other suspension component.

As far as the noise, I don't feel it would be an engine mount, but it could be related to the strut. Check to make sure the coil spring is not damaged or cracked. Also, check the insulator where the coil spring sits in the strut assembly for damage.

I attached an exploded view of the front suspension. I highlighted areas to inspect. Check the things I mentioned and let me know if you find any issues.

Also, if the noise is loud enough to record, please do so and upload it for me to hear. One other thought is to check the brakes, brake caliper mounts, and anything that can be affected by a bump.
