I just bought this car and from the beginning we had to get another battery. Well, the battery I got was not that good and I have to keep getting jumped off. Well, I let the car sit for over a week until I got a better battery and after we switched them the alarm went off. So, we took the fuse out to make it stop going off but now when we try to start it the relay just keeps clicking and the car does nothing. The lights do come on, but it does nothing else but clicks. Do I need to put that fuse back in or restart the security on the car? If so, how do I do that? Is there anything else that could be the problem?

Hi,

Replace the fuse. Then, I need you to check if there is power to the black wire with a red tracer at the starter motor. That wire should only have power (12v) when the key is in the start position, so you will need a helper.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Also, make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. I attached the wiring schematic below for you to reference. Let me know about the power supply at the aforementioned starter wire.

Take care,

Joe
