Battery good, no crank, no click. Probably bad solenoid. Did swap starter relay and fuse with others of same capacity. Also jumpered the relay terminals, no click, but hear the headlight relay. Cannot see how to get the starter out from the bottom. Is it easier, or even possible, to get it out by removing the alternator?

Hello,

The best way to get the starter out is to remove it from the bottom. You will have to raise the vehicle and secure it on stands, that will make is easier to access.
Remember to disconnect the negative battery cable before staring the replacement procedure.

Have you checked to see if you are getting power to the relay?
Just in case it is a wiring issue and not the starter. If for some reason the relay is not getting power it will not work. Were there any corrosion on the relay pins?

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
