Tacoma has a squealing in the engine usually at 30 mph and above and never at idle. It is most easily heard when decelerating down to 30, it is not a real loud squeal. It has been happening off and on for at least a year. Won’t ever act up at the mechanics of course. I just had the serpentine belt and belt tensioner replaced but still have the squealing sound.

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. Usually, engine squealing noises are related to the serpentine belt system or one of the accessories has a bearing going out, can I ask if the noise is coming from the front of the engine? I have seen a locked-up fan clutch cause this problem. Can you lift the hood and see if you can spin the radiator fan (engine off)? Please let me know and upload that video so I can help you fix it.
