I changed my brake pads, and now they are really squeaky when I stop. The car stops fine. I am pretty sure I installed the pads correctly. So how do I get them to stop squeaking?

There is a whole lot more to doing a brake job than simply putting a set of pads in. The rotors have to be resurfaced or replaced, depending on their condition. All the slides and pad channels have to be cleaned and lubed and the back of the pads need to be coated with a brake lube. The hardware (springs and clips) also should be replaced.
