I have had a small engine fire about 10-15 seconds, put it out with a fire extinguisher. It was caused from a misfire. Bad coil pack. It has misfired once before, but never started a fire. I am wondering if it picked up the fumes between the catalytic converter and the exhaust pipe from the engine seeing as they were welded but only at both bottom sides. My question is, Is it still drive-able? Is it worth fixing the coil pack? Is it worth dumping more money into or is it a loss?

This is something you have to check to see if wire harness is bad or not. If it caught fire there may be a fuel leak so check for that. If it is all good then fix it and drive it.
