1995 Saturn SL2 hard to start

I have a 95 saturn sl2 automatic 4cyl front wheel drive it is sometimes hard to start and when it does it will want to stall but then it just goes away and runs smooth what would be causing this

When you have trouble starting it do you ever have to hold the gas pedal to the floor to get it to start?

I would be replacing the coolant temp sensor you have two you want to replace the bottom one with two wire's.Also make sure you you inspect the connector going to it if it's corroded you will have to replace it too.Make sure you get a brass tipped one the plastic tipped one's crack.There only 10 i would start by replacing it really common for them to go bad on that car and they cause all kind's of problem's.
