My car is running hot, so far I replaced the thermostat checked the relays and all fuses as well as flushing the radiator. When the car gets hot I noticed the engine cooling fan isn't on-but if I turn on the air conditioner the fan kicks on and immediatly cools the engine the fan stays on until it cycles and shuts off on its own even if I turn off the air but won't come back on when operating temp is reached unless I turn on the air conditioner back on even if just for a min. I was able to pull trouble codes from the PCM which I read to be 26 and 32

from what I found code 26 is a quad driver output fault and I am clueless as to what this.

the other code 32 I found o be the EGR system fault

and i'm not sure where to go from here I was hoping u might be able to help. It would be greatly appreciated !Thank u

Thanks Jack, I really appreciate it i'll give it a try, and what about the EGR fault? Luckie

A bad cooling fan relay can cause thequad driver code. Try swapping the cooling fan relay with another one (a/c, something not vital) and see if it fixes the overheating and the check engine light. You will need to clear the codes first by using a jumper wire to go from terminal "B" to terminal "A" (see pic)with ignition on, touch the wire across those 2 terminals 3 times within 5 seconds and it should clear the codes

this connector is located under the dash, drivers side
